"Ugorskaya" water is natural drinkable water formed in the Paleozoic period rocks, whose age amounts to about 590 mln. years.

The water intake (well 3Ð) relates to Stanovlyansky deposit of Beryozovsky district, Sverdlovsk region, having been exploited since 1987.

"Ugorskaya" water enters into the category of ecologically pure natural waters (EPNW) of the highest quality, whose composition and physical characteristics are favourable for the human being organism, and do not contain any components of anthropogenous origin. The EPNW do not require any special chemical preparation (The RF Ministry of Natural Resources, Moscow, "Guidec" Sanitary Norm. 2.1.4.559-96).

"Ugorskaya" water in its natural state is fed from the depth of 90 metres for bottling into polycarbonate tare (Specifications ÒÓ 0131-001-44670010-97 of the Regional Centre of Sanitary- Epidemiological Standards) without chemical and mechanical preparation. Owing to this water preserves the structure of isotopic configuration Í+ (protium) and is light water (identical to thawed water). In the opinion of Acad. V.M.Mukhachov et àl., thawed water is biologically active due to the absence of deuterium (heavy water). In the assertion of Acad. V.F.Derpholz, deep-origin water is free of deuterium, while thawed water flowing down the slopes of mountains and artesian waters are similar in structure.

The storage term of "Ugorskaya" water is 90 dàós. Water has a balanced microelement composition that does not require any special operations in either enriching or reducing à definite number of elements.

Àn additional virtue of "Ugorskaya" water is the presence of optimum content of' ions of' magnesium (Mg++ ) and calcium (Ñà++), which makes it possible to respectively strengthen the cardiovascular system and osseous tissue of the organism. One fifth part of the whole of magnesium contained in the human being organism was found to be in the heart. This points out to the high significance of magnesium cations for cardiac activity. The preparations for ñàrdiàñ patients contain magnesium. For example, "Magnitor", which improves blood circulation and is used for the therapy of ischemic heart disease. Another preparation - "magnesium sulfate"- exerts à soothing action on the central nervous system and normalizes arterial pressure (Encyclopaedia of Pharmacology). The content of magnesium in "Ugorskaya" water amounts to 24 mg/l. Important is the ability of calcium ions to compete with ions of heavy metals for specific protein. In this connection the more calcium ions are in water, the less protein falls to the share of metals (Hygienic Sanitation, 1999, No.1, pp. 15 - 18). The content of calcium in "Ugorskaya" water is 28 mg/l.

According to qualitative series îf indices "Ugorskaya" water has been entered into à register îf the State Committee for Standards - Gr. No.6989/08 dated 24.04.1992 (herewith enclosed) by the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences (The Scientific-Production Association of Brewing, Non-alcoholic and Wine-making Industry).
Basing on the conclusion of the Central Laboratory of "Uralgeology" Association, Beryozovsky Sanitary-Åpidemiological Station, the Regional Centre of Sanitary- Epidemiological Standards, the Centre of Standardization and Metrology, the Laboratory of Health-Resort Resources of the Medical Scientific Centre of Prophylaxis and Health Protection of' Workers of Industrial Enterprises (No.10/6/640 dated 02.07.1991), "Ugorskaya" water refers to fresh water and does not possess any special curative properties, thus ensuring à wide range of consumption.

As à result of use of "Ugorskaya' water in the technology of monitoring purgation of intestine of patients of the Section of Non-medicamental Therapy of the Regional Clinical Hospital No.1 (591 procedures), à positive dynamics of improvement of health has been registered in à number of indices: reduction of the symptoms of intoxication, improvement of sleep, appetite, potentiation of diuresis has been fixed, truthful reduction of weight of the patients down to 4.2% has been noted. As à result of clinical approval, "Ugorskaya" water is an ideal washing solution, as well as à solvent in using sorbents and herbal species.

According to the conclusion of the Chief Physician of the Infantine Gastroenterological Sanatorium No.3 (Ekaterinburg), "Ugorskaya" water exerted à favourable effect on the patients suffering from various forms of stomach diseases: heartburn, the feeling of burden in the stomach, nausea, vomiting have lessened. In acting on the intestine: distention has disappeared, peristalsis has improved. The children's skin has become more elastic, the patients suffering from neurodermite have reported lessening of pruritus, disappearance of xeroderma.

By evaluation of the physiological activity (The Theses of the 5th International Symposium. "Pure Water - Russia-99"), natural drinkable water "Ugorskaya" in the period of after-effect substantially increases the intensity of the PATI Na+ (the process of the active transport of sodium ions) through the membranes of the cells (frog's skin). The mechanism of this influence is connected with the activation of the Na+ canals (and probably with the inactivation of the Cl- canals) of the cellular membranes. The changes of the PATI Na+ through the cellular membranes can, as known, actuate the whole cascade of biophysical, biochemical, bioelectrochemical reactions both in the membrane and in the cell proper to the extent of its genetic apparatus inclusive.

So, the biophysical reactions make it possible to enhance energy in the cells of the organism and in the cellular organelles (mitochondria), used to synthesize ion canals (the synthesis of "the bricks" for forming of the cells).

The biochemical reactions activate the mechanisms catering for self-cleaning of the organism, aiding in neutralization of non-quality foodstuffs and drinks, and also of harmful substances penetrating into the organism through the lungs under the conditions of production and unfavourable conditions of life.

The bioelectrochemical reactions activate "the lethal gene" (à scientific term),liable to destroy unhealthy ce1ls, struck with various microbes, viruses and to influence healthy cells, thus encouraging improvement of functions for the period of their lives. The changes of the ÐÀÒI Na+ minimize the consumption of the genetic resource, optimize the work of the genes in the cells, thus reducing the probability of the genetic errors.

Thus, taking into consideration the above-described, "Ugorskaya" water is à good additional means in rehabilitative-restorative treatment and the basis for forming qualified metabolism in the organism.
